Another technique relies on the fact that (for me, anyway) the story 
comes up first, then there's a one- or two-second delay before the 
blocking overlay is displayed.  In that short time gap, you can 'copy 
all' in the browser by pressing ctrl-a ctrl-c.  Then you can paste the 
copied text to Notepad or the text editor of your choice. You don't get 
pictures with Notepad, but you might with Word or another editor that 
handles images.
