As I posted in the Sumoforum, I proposed a three Basho limit for dropping
when someone has a major injury such as this. The rikishi then would stay
at that place on the banzuke until he’s able to come back, whether it’s
Juryo, Makushita, or in the case of lower wrestlers. he won’t drop to the
very bottom.
