Ozeki contender Houshouryuu will be wearing a new dark blue mawashi in
Nagoya. "Don't write about it yet.. I decided to try it on today and do
some sumo and see if it felt good. It felt great so I'll be wearing it on
day one..  I like it when it's tough so it's extremely good," he said. He
has been training daily in the sweltering heat. Today he faced Meisei and
lower rankers for 20 bouts. "My sumo is not bad and I feel good. Now I
need to rest my body a bit," he said of his condition.
