Newspapers that have gone under since the Internet are volumes! Those that
exist have had to cut back any way they can. The first to go were the
proofreaders, or editors as the newspaper world calls them. Now it's the
same online. It seems that many online papers are raising their
subscriptions and cutting back on labor. The first to go? The editors!
