Former Makuuchi regular Kotoekou (32) has announced his retirement and will
become Oguruma Oyakata. 17 years in sumo, highest rank Maegashira 4, 29
bashos in Makuuchi. He dropped from Juryo to Makushita this basho after
going 1-14 last basho. He did not enter this basho.
