Hacking tool reportedly draws FBI subpoenas

The author of the popular freeware hacking tool Nmap warned users this
week that FBI agents are increasingly seeking access to information from
the server logs of his download site, insecure.org.

[I find two things very troubling about this.  First, the fact that the
FBI is doing it at all.  Second, that the article calls nmap a "hacking"
tool when it is primarily a network management and security tool.  -
